We all understand that first impressions are important. The last thing you'd want is a vampire/demon laughing at you Bay City Rollers flares (If you don't know who they are (peasents *g*) ask your mum). So here is a little guide on how to dress like a Slayer.
1. Knee High Boots: They go with everything, they make your legs look thin (apparently, I'll get back to you on that one.) and they protect your legs from knives, claws and kicks.
2. Short Skirts: Always wear with knee high boots. The resulting look will distract the monster (as long as it is male) long enough to 'dispose' of him.
3. Vest tops: Keeps you cool on those hot sweltering nights. Also prevents 'sun tan marks'.
4. Raincoats: You saw Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered... need I say more? Good for concealing weapons (a la 'Highlander')
5. Stakes: great for holding your hair up. Go Fish is a good example of this.
6. Prom dess: White is good. If done right it becomes a serious talking point. Good for distraction purposes?
7. Press-on nails: Slaying takes a toll on your hands, keep a supply of these on hand (excuse the pun) for broken nail emergencies.
8. Cross: Crosses are cool yet practical. Buffy wears one and is still alive, Kendra didn't and look what happened to her.
9. Leather jackets: cool.
10. A small bag: What else can you carry your weapons in? You could always hit an enemy over the head with it if all else fails.
