Dear Diary...
Well here I am in Sunnydale,
and frankly it's a bit of a fleapit. I miss LA already . . . and dad. But
mom thinks we should make a new start and Sunnydale High was the only school
that would let me enroll.
Mom's feeling quite hopeful about the move, she's got herself a job at the
local art gallery and she's happy. I won't spoil this for her. She's been
through too much already.
So have I. At least in Sunnydale I won't have to worry about my destiny. This
place looks like a destiny-free town.
I'm starting school tomorrow. It's all happened so quickly. I wonder what
Sunnydale High is like? Will I fit in? Will I make any friends?... Well, there's
no use worrying about it now. Tomorrow will come soon enough.
And maybe I can begin to forget about everything that happened at Hemery.
I wonder if I'll be able to leave the past behind...
