What has gone before...

Faith had a magical device from the Mayor which has enabled her to switch bodies with Buffy. Because of this, this episode guide might read a little strange as they will be referred to by the character they are rather than the body they are in.

Faith is now in Buffy's body, she stands on the porch while she watches Buffy (in Faith's body) being taken away in a police car. She tells the police about dangerous 'Faith' is. They know this. Joyce and Faith go back inside and Joyce hugs her daughter, Faith is really embarrased by this show of affection. They agree to spend some qulaity time together but first of all Faith wants to have a bath. It's a very long bath and Faith practices being Buffy, 'But it's wrong', pulling faces in the mirror and trying to say things that Buffy would say.

Willow is at Tara's and they are discussing Faith. Willow wants Tara to meet Buffy and Tara tells her that she belongs to Willow (aww sweet!)

Faith gets all dressed up in leather and borrows Joyce's credit cards to book a plane ticket. Then she decides to go and meet the gang. Before she leaves she tells Joyce to burn the lipstick that she was trying on earlier. At Giles's apartment they discuss Faith and Faith says that it's poetic justice Faith getting arrested. The others look a little confused. Willow is still very angry about Faith and Faith picks up on this. She entertains a fantasy where she kills the redhead, but tells Willow that she won't let Faith hurt her.

Buffy is lying dazed in the back of the police car. They are suprised by how quickly she is coming around from the sedation she's been given. An armoured truck pulls out in front of the police car, and there's a crash. The three men from Giles's get out and pull Buffy out of the police car and throw her into the back of the van before driving away.

At his place, Giles tells Willow, Xander and Anya about the Special Ops guys from the Watcher's Council who are in town (the men from the helicopter who've just taken Buffy) They are going to take Faith back to England. Willow hopes they throw the book (or some other large object at her).

Buffy tries to convince the Couoncil guys that she's not Faith, but they don't believe her. They discuss how they are goingt o get her to England. As far as they are concerned she is just a package.

Faith is dancing in the Bronze and runs into Spike. She teases him which annoys him greatly and he promises to hurt her once he's got this chip out of his head.

Adam meets up with a group of vampires. He is very curious about them because they are neith human or demon like he is. He scares them into working for him, telling them that he can help them overcome thier fears.

Willow and Tara spot Buffy/Faith in the Bronze and Willow introduces her two friends to each other. When Willow goies to get drinks Faith is very rude to the Wiccan and makes some nasty comments about Willow's sexual preferences. Willow comes back with the drinks and tells Faith that she's spotted a vampire, Faith reluctantly goes to slay it. When she does she gets heartfelt thanks off its intended victim which unsettles her.

When she comes back Willow and Tara make their excuses. Tara isn't feeling too good.

One of the Council Special Op's goes into the van to check on Buffy and she catches him. She tells the other two that she will kill him unless they let her go. The other two don't care they are all expendable. Buffy can't kill the man though and lets him go.

Tara tells Willow that Buffy isn't who she is making out to be. Willow doesn't understand. Tara tells her that Buffy's aura is all wrong. Willow catches on and asks if it is a Hyena possession and tells Tara that those aren't nice. Tara wants to perform a ritual to check, but she needs a personal item of Buffy's. Willow is wearing one of Buffy's rings. Tara tells her that Willow will need to go into the Astral Plane to find her friend and Tara will be her anchor. Willow tells her that she trusts her. They sit facing away from each other and each draw a half circle in the air. As the spell progresses a magical white line is made by their hands which joins and surrounds them in white light. As the spell reaches its climax

Faith pays a visit to Riley and tries to seduce him with her bad girl attitude but her doesn't want to know. Just as she is about to leave Riley kisses her passionately. They get up to - stuff - and Riley tells her that he loves her. Faith freaks out and tries to get away, she doesn't know how to handle all this.

Adam tells the vampires that soon they will overcome their greatest fear

The next morning Faith wakes up and quietly leaves so not to wake Riley. She bumps into Forrest who is very rude to her. Faith doesn't want to listen and walks out.

The Council guys discover that they can not get Faith out alive so they turn to plan B, killing her. She is ready they and manages to disarm one of them and uses the gun to shoot herself free then she steals the van she's in and does a runner.

Faith gets her boarding pass for the plane.

Buffy arrives at Giles's. He doesn't believe that Buffy is really Buffy and she uses some things that only she can know to prove her innocence. Willow and Tara arrive, first of all shocked to see Faith then they explain to Giles about how Tara realised that Buffy isn't in her body. They have created a katra that will let the two Slayer switch bodies again if they make physical contact. Xander phones them and tells them to turn on the TV. A group of vampires have taken over a church and are holding the congregation hostage inside. Faith, at the airport also sees the report and decides to go to the church. She bumps into Riley who is taking charge of the situation. Faith asks how he got there so quickly and he tells her that he was late for church. She gets ready to go inside. Riley wants to go with her, but she points out that he is in no fit state to fight vampires, so he stays outside.

Faith goes in and challenges the vampires. They fight her, but she is is the Slayer. One of them tries to run outside but is burnt in the sunlight that Riley pushes him into. As the last one is overpowering Faith it crumbles into dust to reveal Buffy standing behind stake in hand (very reminisant of when Mr Trick attacked Buffy). The two Slayers fight again and Faith overpowers Buffy beating her repeatedly. Faith isn't seeing Buffy she's seeing Faith and Faith hates herself - a lot. Buffy grabs Faith's hand and they switch back into their proper bodies. Faith runs away leaving Buffy lying by the altar, a little dazed.

The next day, Buffy and Riley are talking and Riley lets slip that he and Faith slept together (it wan't his fault he didn't know). Buffy feels rather betrayed by this.

Faith leaves town in a train's freight car, to destination's unknown.
