He also warns her about seeing Angel and she promises that nothing is going to happen - they're only friends.

Meanwhile, Willow and Xander are discussing whether bowling is realy such a good idea and Xander discovers that Willow has strange bowling fetishes. They try hard not get all lustful on campu, but they're finding it diffcult.

Spike goes to the mansion and watches Angle through the boarded up French windows. He has a little rant, but Angel doesn't hear because he's left the room. Spike ends up passing out in the sunken garden by the fountain.

The next morning, he only wakes up when his hand catches fire and he makes a smoking run for his car where he wastes his whiskey tending his wound, before getting drunk again.

Joyce is still pushing the idea of Buffy going away to college, but Buffy doesn't share her enthusiam. Faith could take over the Slaying duties, but there's so much that Buffy wants to stay for. Confused, she goes to visit Angel who tells her (as a friend) to go, even though it is obvious that he wants her to stay.

Spike, now a little bit sober, goes to Sunnydale's magic shop (through the back (sewer) way) in search of a curse for Angel. While he's there, Willow turns up after ingredients for a 'de-lusting' spell. This gives Spike an idea: a love spell for Drusilla and in his happiness kills the shop keeper.

Willow is in the science lab, getting all the ingredients ready for the delusting spell. Xander shows up, unaware of what she is doing and when he realises he argues with her. Spike shows up, still drunk and says that he wants to borrow Willow. On their way back to the shop, Spike's hangover sets in and he reminisces about the great times his had with Dru. Oz and Cordelia, on thier way to find Giles backtrack when Oz smells Willow (she's scared). Cordy is a little wigged out by this wolfiness trait.

Xander comes around and discovers his head wound. Willow tells him that he's very brave. He tells her that he'll save them, once he's able to get up.

Spike tells Buffy and Angel that they can never be *just friends*. They'll love each other until it kills them. As they leave with the supplies, some of Spike's old hench-vamps show up and start a fight with Spike.

Back at the factory, Willow and Xander share a kiss just as Cordy and oz come to save them. Cordelia is disgusted and upset and turns to run away only to plunge through the weakened stairs and get impaled on a metal pipe. Xander climbs down the hole to be with her. She tells him that she can't see anything.

The fight is turning nasty and the three of them retreat to the magic shop and barricade themselves in. When the vampires get inside they fend them off by throwing bottle of Holy water at them. One particulary mouthy vampire gets sloppy and Spike stakes him just to shut him up.

Spike comes to the realisation that the only way to make Dru love him again is to find her and torture her until she takes him back. Angel and Buffy just watch him leave.

There is a funeral going on in the cemetery, there is a blonde girl and a red haired girl present. The camera pan over to Willow and Buffy walking by the cemetery, Cordelia was badly hurt, but luckily she didn't damage anything vital. Buffy and Willow go over the aftermath of the kiss. Oz won't even talk to Willow now. She feels terrible.

Xander goes to visit Cordy in hospital but she turns away from him and tells him that she never wants to see him again. Buffy goes to see Angel and tells her that now he's healed he won't see her again. She has thought over over what Spike said and has come to the conclusion that she can't see Angel unless he tells her that he doesn't love her. He can't and Buffy leaves.

Now everyone is lonely and we see them all moping.

Spike is on his way out of town, cheerful and determined to find Drusilla, singing along with Gary Oldman's version of 'My Way'
