SWORDS

The weapon of choice for my favourite fight scene in the Whole of Buffy - ever.
Swords have been around since the bronze age in various forms. Long, pointy and very sharp, most people think of 'Higlander' when you mention swords. (Did you know there is a blacksmith in Hollywood who is employed solely to make swords for the different Hollywood films and TV series?).

HOW TO USE A SWORD

Watch 'Highlander' (that, apparently, is a very good technique to use). Swing and try to hit bad guys with the sharp edge. There's probably more to it than that, but having never used one (when would I get the chance?) I can't really tell you what to do.

OTHER USES FOR A SWORD

  • A REALLY big kitchen knife.
  • Hang it above the fire for an interesting talking point.
  • Magically place it in a big stone and get the true King to pull it out.

  • Use it to rid the world of immortals (if you are an immortal yourself).

  • Use it to have rather dangerous lightsaber fights.
