Cordelia is throwing a big party at her place. The joint is jumping and Wesley is really getting into the swing of things dancing his little socks off. Angel is standing in the corner,looking all broody and mysterious. A woman comes over to him and they chat for a while, it looks as if they are getting on really well. A song comes on which the woman really likes and she asks Angel to dance. Angel has a horrifying (yet very funny) image of himself dancing - Wesley style. Angel turns down the offer of the dance and slopes off into the kitchen where phantom Dennis gets him a drink and they have a mope about being dead.

A man at the Ice factory hears voices coming from a big wooden box. When he opens it lots of smokes comes out. he smiles down at whatever is in the box.

The next morning Cordelia comes in and tells Angel that he was the sucking balck hole at her party and depresses Angel even more when she tells him that Wesley was cooler than him at her party. Angel tries to defend himself saying that he has two actions with people, bite and run away. Wesley comes in and thanks Cordelia for a great party. Wesley is running out of money and Angel offers him a job.

Cordelia has a vision of a man being burned from the inside. it's rather gruesome. Wesley and Angel go to the Ice Factory and find the icky body and a box filled with melting ice. He finds a demon called Ty, a demon from another dimension. He was sent to bring back the demon that escaped from his realm, the person who killed the man.

Angel goes searching for information at the office of the dead man. While he is searching he is disturbed by a woman who blasts him through the door of the office with a big bolt of fire. She is interupted by a phone call on her mobile anbd she makes a quick getaway.

Angel follows her and phones Cordy to get her to find out about this mysterious demon. The connection is bad and in the end Angel hangs up. Angel trails her to an art gallery. The woman tells the security guards that Angel is following her and to elude them he pretends to give a talk on the artist Manet. It turns out that he actually knew him and the poet in the picture. He avoids the guards and carries on his search for the woman. He finds her in a restoration room and confronts her.

Wesley finally finds some information on the demon Angel is chasing. As Angel confronts the woman a portal opens and another demon woman enters our universe, but Ty and some other male demons attack them. They take the new girl back to a factory and 'unmake' her by cutting off part of her ridged back with a special tool.

Angel and the Woman, called Jhiera, go back to his apartment where Jheira explains about their kind. The personalities of the females are taken away when they reach a certain age so they can serve the men better (that is what happened to the girl in the factory) Jheira is bringing them here so they can live a life of freedom. She also tells them that there is a fire beneath her skin and the only way to cool her kind down is ice.

Wesley and Cordy discover that the demons are herbivores and their main food is rotting vegtable matter. So they head off to find some compost. They track down the demons at a huge factory and overhear their plans to capture Jheira, in their world she is a princess.

Jheira is talking to a man about the women she has already brought over from her world. They make arrangements to have the women moved to a safer location.

Wesley and Cordy tell Angel what they have overhear and they head out to the mansion where the women are being kept, Angel has the address on an invoice he took from the office of the murdered man.

Angel warns Jheira, but it is too late and the males demons arrive, the man helping Jheira tries to stall them but is knocked out. Wesley and Cordy get the women into their boxes ready to leave, while Jheira and Angel fight the male demons. Wesley and Cordy come back but they are taken hostage by the male demons. Jheira is willing to let them die so she can get her girls away safely and she does a runner. Cordy and Wesley are nit goingto take this lying down and they put up a very good fight. Ty tells them that they have made a terrible mistake and leaves to try and find the female demons.

The next day Wesley apologises for getting taken hostage, Angel tells them that it wasn't their fault and adds that they both put up a very good fight. Jheira shows up and none of them are very happy to see her. Jheira says that her girls are safe and to thank Angel for his help. She then leaves to carry on getting women from her portal. Before she can leave Angel tells her that if she carries on endangering innocent people he will be forced to take steps to stop her.
